About this role

Wake up Southern Arizona with weather that matters. KGUN, the E.W. Scripps station in Tucson is looking for a Morning Meteorologist who can help viewers start their day informed, prepared and ready for whatever the desert weather brings. From summer monsoons and flash flooding to extreme heat, mountain snow and those picture-perfect Arizona mornings, you’ll forecast for a region where weather is always part of the conversation. We’re looking for an engaging communicator who can make the forecast clear, useful and relevant across broadcast, digital and social platforms. WHAT YOU'LL DO : Prepare and deliver daily weathercasts utilizing all available weather data and graphics computers. Prepare and deliver urgent weather updates interrupting regular programming as necessary.…
