Job Purpose The Material Controller is responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted flow of raw materials, components, packaging, and production supplies required to support manufacturing operations. The role involves inventory management, production scheduling support and maintaining optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing inventory costs. Material Planning and Control Ensure the timely availability of materials to support production schedules. Monitor inventory levels and maintain stock within approved minimum and maximum limits. Review material requirements planning (MRP) outputs and initiate procurement actions. Inventory Management Conduct regular cycle counts and support annual stocktakes.
