About this role

The Purchasing Assistant is in charge of starting the search for suppliers, analyzing offers, carrying out the administrative purchase process and following up until the invoice is paid to the supplier. General Responsibilities • Reviews purchase requests, develops supply sources, prepares bid specifications and bid requests. • Reviews departmental purchase requisitions to verify completeness and accuracy of information. • Identifies proper and reliable sources to fulfill internal customer needs described by Purchasing requisitions on time. • Assists the sourcing buyer on activities related to cost reduction. • Assists the buyer by following the global strategy. • Assists the buyer in reviewing commercial contracts. • Helps with any other task assigned by supervisor.…
