Job Description: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Provides crisis, suicide and homicide intervention counseling over the telephone to callers needing emergency/crisis assistance, identifies and suggests appropriate organizations and service providers to meet callers' needs, and monitors status of callers' situations through case follow-up. Demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills and ability and willingness to suspend personal judgement regarding callers presenting with diverse issues.
