District Office of Mufti Associate (DOMA)

[What the role is] The District Office of Mufti Associate (DOMA) is a religious officer within the Religious Content & Guidance (RCG) unit, serving as a vital connection between religious scholarship and the lived realities of the Muslim community. Based both at MUIS HQ and the district, the DOMA supports Mosque Religious Officers (MROs) in understanding and applying religious guidance, while bringing ground perspectives into the work of RCG. The DOMA also assists the Assistant Director RCG in strengthening religious content, guidance and MRO development, in collaboration with Religious and Policy Development (RPD), Religious Talent Development (RTD) and relevant district stakeholders.…
