[What the role is] The Town Council Secretariat (TCS) supports the Ministry of National Development (MND) in regulating, overseeing, and monitoring the Town Councils’ operations, governance, performance, and financial matters. TCS conducts regular reviews of the policies impacting TCs (including the Town Councils Act and regulations) and plays an important role in facilitating inter-agency collaborations to improve the overall Town Councils’ standard of maintenance and management of the common area in HDB estates.…
