[What the role is] The officer will assess Change of Use applications from business operators, property owners and other applicants, ensuring that proposals are evaluated fairly and consistently, and processed within URA’s service standards. [What you will be working on] Key responsibilities include: Assess Change of Use applications against planning policies, guidelines and site-specific considerations. Engage applicants, business operators and relevant government agencies to understand their concerns/ issues and facilitate appropriate planning outcomes. Handle enquiries, feedback and appeals relating to Change of Use proposals and the use of premises. Review planning policies, guidelines and work processes to ensure they remain relevant, effective and pro-enterprise.…
