Position Title: Maintenance Specialist III (may underfill) Bargaining Unit: AFSCME Job Description: Performs skilled maintenance, repair, adjustment and minor construction work in the trades to ensure facilities are properly maintained and meet city standards. Trains employees in facilities maintenance trades. Assists Facilities Supervisor in planning work and identifying staff training needs. Duties may fall into a variety of trades including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, energy management, fire and life safety and keys/security systems. This is the third level of the Facilities Maintenance job line. It is distinguished by the responsibility for a wide variety of non-routine assignments across multiple trades.…
