About this role
SMX is seeking a driven and talented Microsoft Administrator to join our thriving Cloud Business Unit department and work with some of the best Architects, Engineers, and Operators in the market. This position is on site in Washington, DC five days a week and will require a federal clearance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Install, configure, update, and patch Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022, etc.) and related components · Apply DISA STIGs, NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, and agency-specific policies; implement access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection · Create/manage accounts, permissions, and authentication protocols · Design, configure, and maintain multi-node Hyper-V clusters for high availability and disaster recovery.…
