About this role
The Senior Grid System Design Engineer is the technical "Gatekeeper" for our BESS pipeline. This role carries dual responsibility: performing the advanced mathematical simulations required for TNB approval and acting as the primary technical auditor for BESS and PPC hardware suppliers. Key Responsibilities BESS Dynamic Modeling: Develop site-specific BESS models including Inverters (PCS), Battery Management Systems (BMS), and Power Plant Controllers (PPC). You must accurately model GridForming (GFM) logic, Virtual Inertia, and sub-50ms Fast Frequency Response (FFR). Supplier Technical Auditing: Critically review BESS and PPC supplier proposals.…
