About this role
Job Summary This position maintains mechanical systems, develops and records data, troubleshoots problems and carries out all other assigned duties. Troubleshoots, inspects and maintains electrical and mechanical systems within Corewell Health. Performs safety inspections on current and incoming equipment. Orders the parts, tools and supplies necessary to maintain safety and operating standards. Works with Corewell Health departments to ensure repairs are completed on a timely basis with minimal inconvenience. Ensures all repair and maintenance documentation conforms with Joint Commission standards. Assists Supervisor, Lead and Healthcare Mechanic 1 as requested. Essential Functions Maintains and install pneumatic or DDC controls (Energy Management) on mechanical equipment/systems.…
