About this role
Under general supervision, the Billing Assistant is responsible for assisting billing coordinators, attorneys, and other non-legal staff with complex billing assignments and related billing inquiries. Responsibilities include preparation of client invoices, invoice processing, data maintenance and related administrative duties. Responsibilities Assist Billing Coordinators with creating, editing, and processing high volume of invoices in a timely manner. Review invoices for misallocated time and ensure time entries are in accordance with client guidelines. Edit draft invoices based on partner mark-up, including: time entry narrative changes, fee/cost transfers, splitting entries, unblocking entries, on-account applications, and write-offs in accordance with firm policy.…
