Job Type: Regular Scheduled Hours: 40 Job Summary: Reports to the Operations Manager, the Ophthalmic Assistant, under the direction and supervision of the Physician, provides clinical support to the Physician(s) and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The Ophthalmic Assistant provides the medical history, initial exam, and ancillary testing for patients prior to seeing the Physicians or Advanced Practice Providers. The Ophthalmic Assistant is also responsible for compliance with all OSHA and HIPAA regulations, and ensuring completion of all duties vital to patient care.
