Job Type: Regular Scheduled Hours: 36 Job Summary: Reports to the Manager of Virtual Health Inpatient, the Virtual Observer (VO) plays a critical role in patient safety by remotely monitoring patients requiring continuous observation. This position works from a centralized unit at the Ft Thomas Hospital while collaborating with the healthcare team located at all the hospital campuses across the system. The VO will provide observation of the patient at risk for falls, confusion, combativeness, or other behaviors as indicated working to ensure the patient is kept safe while in their hospital room.
