City, State: Bridgewater, New Jersey The purpose of an Event Coordinator is to support both internal and external customers as it relates to Event Coordination; to work with Sales, hotel operational departments and third party food and beverage outlets to ensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event and post-event phases of the group. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in tracking Events revenue. Finalize and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for all events within the 10-day forecast to internal departments. (Group Billing) Distribute Daily Events reports to ensure effective communication across departments. Answer phones and route Events sales inquiries to the appropriate Sales Manager. Create and communicate event resumes for small group bookings.…
