About this role
1. Background Street Child Kenya, with support from Leigh Day, will implement a new Early Childhood Development (ECD) programme in Laikipia North Subcounty, aimed at improving access to and participation in early childhood education among vulnerable children. The programme will support approximately 20 ECD centres, reaching an estimated 1,500–2,000 children through targeted school feeding, complemented by basic improvements to learning environments, teacher and caregiver support, and strengthened monitoring of attendance and transition into primary education.
