Job Description Required Certificates and Licenses Appropriate state Department of Education Special Education Teaching Certification Required If the current Teaching Certification is from another state, candidate must provide proof of their New Mexico license application within 7 days of the start date AND must obtain an approved New Mexico teaching license within 90 days of the start date.
