JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION SUMMARY: The Merchandiser is responsible for stocking shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with Sysco’s merchandise. The Merchandiser is responsible for arranging the merchandise displays to attract customers and periodically take physical count of stock or check and mark merchandise. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Rotate products and ensure FIFO system is utilized. Inventories, stores, price according to store’s price list, and restocks merchandise displays in retail stores assigned, takes inventory for replenishment. Requisitions merchandise from supplier based on available space, merchandise on hand, customer demand, or advertised specials. Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons or crates of merchandise, checking invoices against items received.…
