General Description The purpose of this class is to assist in the maintenance of county facilities and related systems. Duties and Responsibilities The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary. Replaces lighting ballasts and bulbs. Troubleshoots and repairs electrical malfunctions. Repairs plumbing systems, including sump pumps, fountain pump motors, and landscape irrigation. Maintains HVAC systems. Maintains smoke alarms. Repairs bathroom fixtures. Basic carpentry, painting, and construction skills.…
