About this role
About Excellent opportunity to join our 62 bed acute Care Facility with 56 acute general beds and 6 critical care beds MSN or Nurse Practitioner to function as our Director of Med/Surg and Observation Services. This role will include clinical, quality and financial oversight along with strategic planning for 54 med/surg beds which includes a Joint Center, Observation services (outpatient), Stroke center, and Telemetry. This person is responsible for most nursing procedures, policies etc. in the organization with the exception of critical care, surgical and ED specific policies. There are approximately 115 direct staff reports, two coordinators reporting directly to the Director and 6 patient care supervisors who will also report to this 24 hour accountability position.…
