About this role

Job Description Reuters is seeking an experienced editor and newsroom leader with a strong track record of producing ambitious, exclusive and impactful journalism to serve as Bureau Chief for Austria, Germany & Switzerland . Based in Berlin, you will work with text, photo and video journalists across the region to drive original reporting, distinctive storytelling and agenda-setting analysis. In Germany you will help us produce agenda-setting coverage on the rise of the AfD, the growing military threat from Russia and the decline of its industrial base. In Switzerland and Austria you will help oversee deeper coverage of the multilateral institutions based there as well as the major political and economic stories facing the two countries.…
