About this role
The Subtitling QC Technician team is responsible for preparing work materials for translators, running technical checks on translated subtitle files, exporting and delivering files according to the customer delivery specification. Responsibilities: Proficient in various competencies relevant to timed text translation services. Time-stamping and spotting, preparing the Source Master Template with timing information and applying it to the texted transcript. Perform non-linguistic quality checks on the translated subtitle files. Correct non-linguistic errors found during the quality check e.g. positioning, synchronization, reading speed, etc. Transcode the translated master file to the delivery specifications. Track and update production tasks in proper systems.…
