Plans, supervises and evaluates patient care and nursing personnel of a specific nursing unit on a 24-hour basis. In compliance with the Philosophy of the Department of Nursing, will be responsible for operations of a specific nursing unit to ensure quality patient care, competent and responsible personnel management and cost efficient and effective utilization of unit resources. Serves as a mentor and role model for staff. Responsible to ensure department aligns to Hospital and Nursing strategic plan staff in UMC initiatives.
