About the Job The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Neurosciences at the University of Minnesota invites applications for a full-time, open-rank faculty position (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) on the Clinician Track. We are seeking an outstanding clinician-educator to serve as an Ophthalmic Hospitalist and comprehensive ophthalmology, leading our inpatient consultation service, emergency department eye care, and acute/comprehensive outpatient clinic operations. Operating within a premier academic health system and regional tertiary/quaternary referral hub, the Ophthalmic Hospitalist serves as the primary diagnostic anchor for urgent, complex, and high-acuity ocular, as well as, comprehensive conditions while training the next generation of academic ophthalmologists.…
