About this role
The Manager is an excellent clinician who assists the Chief Nursing Officer, operational management and education to employees and patients. The Nurse Manager holds 24-hour accountability for the quality of patient care, efficiency of operations, and human resources management for area (s) assigned. Provides staff education utilizing the AACN core curriculum, program planning and clinical oversight for new and current staff. The Manager coordinates care of the patients during hospitalization to obtain the best utilization of resources so that patient outcomes are optimized.
