Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: Please submit a resume and cover letter The Academic Advisor-Athletics position will provide a small number of student-athletes with critical writing support, while working to improve their reading and vocabulary skills so as to make them more effective college-level writers. This position will also oversee those students in various required study hall sessions. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Review all academic objectives of the assigned students prior to each study sessions. (25%) Teach and promote study skills, including but not limited to note-taking, reading comprehension, and test-taking strategies. (25%) Teach and promote time management skills.
