USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app The Lighting Designer is responsible for researching and developing a complete lighting design for department student productions within a predetermined budget. Working collaboratively with the Director, Stage Manager, and Scenic Designer, the designer ensures the lighting vision supports the overall production aesthetic while adhering to all deadlines. The designer drafts a full light plot using CAD software (VectorWorks, AutoDesk, or equivalent), develops a cue script prior to tech rehearsal, and prepares all associated paperwork including instrument schedules, channel hook-ups, focus charts, and magic sheets (LightWright format preferred).…
