About the Role The role of the Triage Nurse is to provide patients with medical instruction and professional education pertaining to urological issues, specifically Men's Health issues . The triage nurse will work under the supervision of a licensed physician to give assistance in determining the urgency of care needed. The Triage Nurse position requires a highly organized individual who can safely manage more than one task at a time and move efficiently throughout varied responsibilities. The Triage Nurse must be able to work independently as well as interact as part of a team, consistently demonstrating respect and cons ideration to all callers phoning into the practice .
