Job Description UW Medical Center-Montlake Environmental Services has employment opportunities for Day Hospital Custodians. WORK SCHEDULE 100% FTE (40 hours per week), Day shift, 7:00am-3:00pm (7:30am-4:00pm) - Rotating every other weekend. POSITION HIGHTLIGHTS Maintaining cleanliness and care of facilities in inpatient and non-patient areas and administrative offices as assigned PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Cleans and disinfects all furniture, fixtures, and equipment according to procedure Removes and properly handles soiled linen; disinfects and remakes beds in patient rooms; dust and wet mops hard floors with disinfectant Performs bloodborne pathogen and chemical spill containment and clean-up according to procedure Strips, cleans, buffs, and applies finish to floors.…
