Position Summary Position has primary responsibility of supervising volunteer staff in Valley Hospice to meet Medicare and the Joint Commission requirement of meeting 5% of total care hours with volunteer contact hours. The role encompasses volunteer recruitment, interviewing, orientation, placement, scheduling, guidance and general supervision of VHC volunteers. This individual will implement sound administrative practices that meet or exceeds standards of Joint Commission, including but not limited to mandatory tuberculosis testing, infection control, safety training and systems for record keeping as well as maintains quarterly volunteer statistics.…
