About this role

The Supply Chain Technician - OR is responsible for ordering, receiving storage and distribution of all supplies in the Operating Room. They will be responsible for assuring adequate inventory for surgeries, requesting supplies for upcoming cases, and working with VCU Health System and other stakeholders for additional needs. Essential Job Statements Ensure that all supplies are scanned, inventoried, pulled, put-away and replenished in and accurate and timely manner. Perform inventory management such as: expiration dates, rotating stock, cycle, and inventory counts. Inspect items to ensure they are not damaged or expired before stocking. Confirm delivery dates, identifies issues and resolutions to supervisor. Assist with procedure cart build and replenishment.…
