Quality Engineering Technician

What you’ll do: Respond to the immediate needs of production or the customer by troubleshooting and assisting with problem-solving and quality concern resolution (5-whys; Cause/effect diagrams; etc.). Document problem resolutions and corrective actions. Coordinate customer inspections and facilitate testing and certification of orders as required for customer orders. Perform or coordinate validation of controlled processes, such as welding, soldering, painting, etc. This would include cross-sectioning of welds and solders, testing the adhesion of paint, and monitoring in-process inspections in Production. Assist in accomplishing in-process, final, and vendor inspection tasks as required, including inspection of the product, including use of the CMM and Niton Analyzer.…
