Job Description: Veit is seeking a Diesel Technician to complete repairs and preventive maintenance on heavy duty trucks and trailers. This person will also assist in heavy equipment repairs. This position is located in Rochester, MN. A Day In The Life Performs preventive maintenance to trucks and trailers. Diagnoses engine mechanical and fuel systems issues on trucks including engines, drive train components, hydraulic systems, air, and electric systems. Uses different tools, such as engine lathes, boring machines, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments. Utilizes computer systems to diagnose issues with electronic engines on trucks. Utilizes tools for repair and maintenance of hydraulic systems. Repairs 12-volt D.C. electrical systems on trucks.…
