Job Description Summary Hours & Location: Full Time: Monday-Friday 8:30m-5pm 19531 Cochran Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL The Phlebotomist II is responsible for drawing and collecting blood from patients and preparing the samples for testing. Verifies the patient's records, enters data into the system, and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis. Processes specimens and demonstrates proper handling of samples. Instructs patients on Coumadin and performs limited waived testing. Maintains sample integrity by identification and labeling (2 identifiers). Maintains work area, supplies, and cleanliness.
