Job Purpose: Job Responsibilities: ● Drive to various destinations with approx. 15-20 stops daily. ● Maintain physical security of cargo to prevent shifting and damage; ensuring safety is your number one priority. ● Maintain truck log, per state and federal regulations. ● Inspect truck equipment and suppliers such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water. ● Drive vehicle to transport items from warehouse to plant or pick up items from several locations for shipment Pickup/Delivery. ● Maintain phone contact with supervisor and/or dispatch to receive pick-up and delivery instructions. ● Prepare receipts and collect payment for goods delivered and delivery charges when required. ● Pick up product at customers and suppliers and check delivered product and quantities for accuracy.…
