Job Summary Performs skilled journey level work of the locksmith trade in connection with the maintenance and repair of the facilities' doors, door hardware, restroom, and standard building hardware. Inspects buildings, facilities and equipment and recommends repairs. Prepares preventative and planned maintenance related work orders. Job Description • Performs skilled tasks involving the maintenance of file cabinets, desks, padlocks, locksets, exit devices, door closers and floor checks. • Performs installation and routine maintenance on all type of locking and closing mechanisms. • Establishes a secure master key system involving great grand master, sub master and change keys. Integrates new sub master and change keys into existing master key systems without cross keying.…
