Job Summary The Host Cashier II is responsible for greeting and seating guests in the assigned dining areas, handling cash transactions and operating cash register, and assisting the server with table maintenance and boxing guest take home food as needed. Job Description • Greets and seats guests in a professional and courteous manner. • Answers telephone and provides timely response to guest inquiries, and/or take messages as appropriate. • Estimates wait times for guests, monitors the guest waiting list, and ensures that the needs of the guests are met while they wait. • Operates cash register, gives change, and balances checks at the end of the shift. • Provides accurate wait times and starts wait times when appropriate.…
