Overview:
Protective Service Officers (PSOs) provide armed security and access control to facilities in the Washington, DC metro area. PSOs deter threats, protect personnel and property, and respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with policies and procedures. All PSOs are deputized under the U.S. Marshals Service Special Deputation Program for duties performed on the contract premises.
Key Responsibilities:
Control access to facilities by screening visitors, personnel, and vehicles using metal detectors, x-ray machines, and visual inspection protocols.
