Position Summary... What you'll do... Role summary: This is a hands-on Senior Manager, Software Engineering role - think Principal/Senior Staff Engineer who also grows a small team. You'll spend roughly 70% of your time in the architecture and the code: designing scalable distributed systems, reviewing pull requests, debugging production issues, and setting the technical bar. The other 30% is managing and mentoring a team of 3-6 engineers. This is not a people-only management role; you lead by doing and go deep technically.
