About this role
Alaska Waste , a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscious Driver to join our team in Juneau, AK! The schedule will be 4 weekdays, 10 hour daytime shifts, with some required weekend work. The starting rate will be $33.00 per hour. We are also offering a Stay on Bonus of $5,000, paid out within your first year of employment. The job also comes with regular wage increases, great family benefits, 401k with a company match, paid vacation, etc. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste. Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
