This recruitment is for non-certified/non-academy applicants. Candidates who are hired from this recruitment will be sent to an 18-week Law Enforcement Academy from January 4, 2027 through May 7, 2027 . Salary and costs are covered by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office. Upon successful completion of the Law Enforcement Academy, candidates must then successfully complete the Department's Field Training program.
