Fiscal Specialist - Sheriff's Department

SALARY RANGE $24.35 - $32.15 WORK ASSIGNMENT DETAILS This position is responsible for a number of tasks including: Processing invoices received from vendors for a $7.9 million operating budget which includes processing inmate medical invoices for payment using Medicaid reimbursement rates. Preparing monthly, quarterly or annual invoices for services provided by the Sheriff’s Department. The Fiscal Specialist position prepares on average 40 invoices a month. Entering journals to charge internal departments for services provided by the Sheriff’s Department. Entering requisitions and purchase orders for items needed by the Department. This position also purchases items directly from vendors using a department purchasing card.…
