About this role
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Primarily responsible for cleaning, maintaining, repairing and prepping cages for live haul trailers. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Clean and sanitize live haul trailers and cages. Perform all necessary paperwork associated with assigned job (i.e. work orders, charge parts, etc.). Inspect and repair cages, adhering to DOT and animal welfare guidelines and regulations. Drive various heavy duty equipment pieces safely. General housekeeping duties, maintaining neat, clean and orderly work area. All other duties as assigned. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: Relative maintenance experience (e.g. cutting, grinding, welding, etc.). Basic math functions and skills. Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.
