About this role
Effectively provide day-to-day supervision of the Truck Shop department in coordination with the Live Haul Manager. Ensure that all work orders are completed timely and efficiently. Ensure that all vehicles in operation comply with DOT regulations as it pertains to maintaining and inspecting vehicles. This team consists of four employees including: 3 mechanics and 1 cage repair person. [Responsibilities and Tasks] *Manage all employees and equipment involved with the truck shop *Assign, complete, and inspect all work orders *Be fair and consistent with all employees in performing their jobs *Utilize D7i to order and maintain parts inventory *Utilize D7i to track equipment units (trucks, trailers, loaders) *Complete a daily roster report to track employee attendance.…
