Adel Hatchery Attendant - 2nd Shift

PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Hatchery Attendant is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the hatchery, including egg handling, incubation, chick care, and facility maintenance. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to biosecurity protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Makes hourly checks of all hatchers and setters, recording all problems found and making minor repairs when possible. Calls the Maintenance and/or Management Department when major repairs are required. Makes periodic checks inside the setters and hatchers for humidifier leaks, curtains closed and proper turning.
