About this role
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Primarily responsible for performing a variety of duties within hatchery, and assisting/leading hourly team members. Must always use and maintain personal protective equipment, and work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Assist Hatchery Supervisor in safety processes, and operation and observation of hatchery operations. Train and assist hatchery employees. Place eggs in incubator trays, and place baskets into hatchers. Pull and push buggies. Place trays of chicks on line. Clean and sanitize machines, floors, drains, baskets, buggies, etc.…
