About this role

Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking a highly motivated accounting professional with a background in financial services to join our Finance team in Shanghai. This role will support various functions within Finance such as daily bookkeeping, month-end closing, trading P&L reconciliation, local tax filing, and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities Perform daily T+1 trading P&L reconciliations across various asset classes, including trading gains/losses, dividends, interests, and commissions using automated tools, including SQL queries and running scripts in Python Handle accounting operations including accounts payable, bank reconciliation, fixed asset management, and preparation of journal entries – accruals, prepays, and intercompany transactions…
