About this role
Our Load Planners ensure the effective management and logistical planning of assigned territories while working closely with Customer Service Managers, Customer Service Assistants, and Fleet Managers and Coordinators. Administer the assigning of trucks to loads. This includes the prioritization of loads based on customer requirements, commitments, tractor production, trailer utilization, Driver home requests, and deadhead by using the AS400 system, as well as practical knowledge of company policies and procedures. Manage Fleet Manager requests for production, home time, and other related requests. Review the geographical area for inbound, outbound, committed, and empty truck status, as well as for trailer pools to maximize asset utilization.…
