About this role
The Senior Bodily Injury Claims Examiner will investigate, reserve, and negotiate resolution of moderate to high exposure third party transportation liability claims of significant value in a self-insured environment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The job functions listed below represent the essential job duties and responsibilities of the above-listed position. • Conduct investigations to analyze liability exposure, provide reserving recommendations, verify actual damages associated with the loss, and conduct active negotiation for claim resolution. • Works closely with in-house and external counsel in the management of litigated claim files. Examiner will be required to attend mediations and trials as deemed necessary. • Prepare in-house reserve and settlement memorandum for committee review.…
