JOB TITLE Research Engineer LOCATION Worcester DEPARTMENT NAME Computer Science - NFR JM DIVISION NAME Worcester Polytechnic Institute - WPI JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The research engineer will work with the PI on facilitating the lab’s ongoing research projects in the immersive system. JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: Designing, implementing, and testing an edge-assisted hardware testbed. Integrating our mobile robotic platform for human-centered AR evaluation and multi-camera systems for visual offloading and 3D reconstruction. The research engineer will also be expected to assist the PI in preparing preliminary results and manuscript drafts for proposal and paper submissions. Requirements: M.S.…
